This feature works in co-ordination with the Audit Tool. To track changes to a document, you will need to enable the Audit Tool’s tracking abilities in the INVNUM table.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Let\u2019s explain further by making use of the following scenario:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Step 1 –<\/strong> Capture a\u00a0new Inventory Invoice<\/strong>\u00a0but don\u2019t process it yet.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Step 2 –<\/strong> Enable the\u00a0audit Tool<\/strong>\u00a0on the\u00a0INVNUM table<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Step 3 –<\/strong> Open the same invoice and this time enter an\u00a0External Order Number<\/strong>\u00a0value on the header and\u00a0process<\/strong>\u00a0the document.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Step 4 –<\/strong> Go to\u00a0Administration | Utilities | Source documents | Change Document customer or supplier<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Step 5 –<\/strong> Find the invoice, change its customer to\u00a0NICE<\/strong>\u00a0and save the change.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Step 6 –<\/strong> Back on the Invoice Maintenance screen, find the invoice, right-click on it and select the\u00a0Find changes<\/strong>\u00a0to this record option.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Step 7<\/strong> – On the Audited Changes screen that opens, the user can now expand each change set to view the details by selecting the + icon on the left.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
