When creating purchase receipts, the receipt line is automatically being labelled “YES” in the Close field but without any invoicing being executed against the receipt.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

The general parameter for ACH Purchase is set such that the receipt line that meets certain parameters gets closed.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Resolution<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

<\/div>\n\n\n\n

Step 1<\/strong> – Go to Setup, General Parameters, Parameter Values<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Step 2<\/strong> – Select the ACH Purchase<\/strong> parameter in the left list.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Step 3<\/strong> – In the right grid select REM<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Step 4<\/strong> – Right click and select Detail<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Step 5<\/strong> – Select the Value field<\/strong> POHCLE.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Step 6<\/strong> – Double click in this field and select the parameter that affects the Close field in the receipts function.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Step 7<\/strong> – There should be 5 choices<\/strong> to choose from.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

a) If equal or larger<\/strong>: if the received quantity is equal to or larger than the quantity of the order line (decreased by any quantity already received) or of the delivery call-off, then the Close<\/em> information of the receipt line is initialized to Yes<\/em> and can no longer be modified. Upon receipt creation, the order line or the delivery call-off will be closed.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

b) On demand<\/strong>: if the received quantity is larger than or equal to the quantity of the order line (decreased by any quantity already received), then the Close<\/em> information of the receipt line is initialized to Yes<\/em> and can be modified. Otherwise, it is initialized to No<\/em>. Upon receipt creation, if the Close<\/em> information remains set to Yes<\/em>, the order line or the delivery call-off will be closed<\/p>\n\n\n\n

c) Never<\/strong>: The Close<\/em> information of the receipt line is initialized to No<\/em> and cannot be modified. An order line or a delivery call-off will never be closed by a receipt.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

d) According to tolerance<\/strong>: If the percentage expressed between the received quantity in purchase unit and the ordered quantity is larger than the threshold set on the Repl<\/em> tab of the product record, then the Close<\/em> information of the receipt line is initialized to Yes<\/em> and cannot be modified. Upon receipt creation, the order line or the delivery call-off will be closed.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

e) Tolerance and rest on demand<\/strong>: If the percentage expressed between the received quantity in purchase unit and the ordered quantity is larger than the threshold set on the Repl<\/em> tab of the product record, then the Close<\/em> information of the receipt line is initialized to Yes<\/em> and remains modifiable. Step 8<\/strong> – Depending on what is chosen, is what will be put in that Closed field. Normally it is set to If Equal or greater than.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Step 9<\/strong> – Click End<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Step 10<\/strong> – Click Save<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
